We would like to ask parishioners to look through their family albums for black and white or colour photographs or slides that we could use in these pages. There are a few photos of family members of both the Pages and the Bryans of Stanton on the Wolds taken in the early part of the 20th century between approximately 1910 and the 1930s and a few more taken in the 1940s and 1950s however there must be more photos still undiscovered or forgotten. Do please have a look through your drawers and cupboards.

We do not have a photo of the intact water tower for instance, though we were very fortunate that a picture showing it being demolished came to light. We would welcome any material taken in the last forty years or more and full credit would be given to the owners. Photos or slides would be copied and returned to the owners within 24 hours. We would also be very pleased to see any cine films taken in the parish, as these could be converted to a digital format on a CD and extracts could also be incorporated into these web pages.  Meanwhile please have a look through this small selection. As more photos are unearthed and used, we will announce any new selections in both the "Latest News" page of this web-site and in the Parish Newsletter.

To the best of our knowledge, we believe this web site complies with the accessibility recommendations for public sector sites, W3C WA1 level AA. Please contact us if you experience any problems.
