Planning Committee held on Friday September 26, 2008

Councillors    Mrs Margaret Healy Chairman        Jim Goodman  Vice-chairman

Roy H Butler    Bryan Baines    Mike Sheriston    Alex McKee    Mrs Angela Benney

Apologies: were received from the clerk Mike Elliott and  Alex McKee

Declarations of interest:  as the meeting was specifically called to deal with planning matters Coun. Jim Goodman had an interest in planning application 08/01668/FUL which was for a property immediately opposite his house.

Minutes from a previous meeting: held on September 10, 2008, were signed after it was corrected that at the meeting the council agreed not to pay the Notts News subscription which still appeared on the accounts for payment list. It was also mentioned that the sums of £10 and £20 for history book sales were not included in the accounts.

Newsletter:  it was reported the next issue was being proof read and expected for house to house delivery the following week. It was agreed the distribution on Stanton Lane be divided by Couns. Mrs Margaret Healy and Jim Goodman.

Planning matters:

08/01644/FUL Single storey front extension; 150 Browns Lane. No objection

08/01668/FUL Single storey rear extension to replace conservatory; 168 Melton Road. No objection

08/01698/FUL Two storey front and rear extensions, increase roof height over property to facilitate first floor accommodation; 52 Stanton Lane. A discussion took place on the size and increase in roof height to the dormer house but members felt there were no major reasons to object.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 11.30am.
