Harvest-time at Manor Farm, Stanton on the Wolds

Dixie Ball from Bunny is seen standing on his steam traction engine operating the controls. George Webster of Glebe Farm is standing on the cart at the left. Neighbouring farmers all lent a hand for hay-making, harvesting, threshing and stack making. The picture must have been taken in the early 1940s as three of the four Land-Army girls stationed at Stanton are in the picture.
