This picture is taken to the west of the Manor House looking towards Stanton Lane. Part of the old moat lies in the dip behind the sheep. In the background from left to right are Kemps Cottages (now numbers 29 and 31), Rose Cottage (now number 35) and Goddard's Cottage which was been demolished.
